Our Partnership Agreement

Our goal is to ensure a successful, collaborative, and professional partnership. These terms and conditions form the agreement for our work together. They are designed to protect both your investment and our creative process, ensuring clarity and mutual understanding from start to finish. Please review them carefully before we begin.

Financial Terms

  • Plain English Summary: This section outlines our 50% deposit requirement to secure your booking and the payment schedule for the remainder of the project.

    Full Terms: The total investment for the services performed will be outlined in the Client's formal Project Proposal and final invoice. Our standard payment structure requires an initial, non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total project fee. This payment is required to secure the project booking in our studio calendar. The final 50% payment is due upon project completion, prior to the handover of all final design files and assets.

  • Plain English Summary: The project includes two rounds of revisions per phase. Further rounds are available at an additional fee of £35 per round and will be added to the final invoice.

    Full Terms: The Client agrees to provide timely feedback and request revisions, if necessary, within 5 days of receiving deliverables. 2 rounds of revisions per process ( strategy and identity ) In the event that further revisions become necessary beyond what was initially agreed upon, each additional round of revisions will incur an additional fee of £35 per round. These charges will be included in the final invoice.

  • Plain English Summary: This outlines the process and fees in the event the project is cancelled. Please note that payments are non-refundable after proposals have been submitted, and you will be invoiced for all work completed up to the point of cancellation.

    Full Terms: Client or Designer may terminate this contract with written notice if the other Party breaches any material term or condition. In the event of termination, the Client shall pay for any work completed up to that point. If the Client decides to cancel the project after ideas and proposals have been submitted, refunds for any previous payments made will not be provided.

Project Process

  • Plain English Summary: Your project's start date is confirmed upon receipt of your deposit. The provided timeline is an approximation to guide the project, not a strict deadline. If we do not receive feedback or materials for over 14 days, the project may be suspended.

    Full Terms: This contract will commence once payment is made and will remain in effect until the completion of the project on handover unless extended by mutual agreement. Start date: Upon receipt of deposit - End date: number weeks dependent on project type from start date. The provided timeline is an approximate timeline for when I anticipate the project will reach completion. Please understand that these dates are not meant to pressure or rush the process; they serve more as reference points rather than strict deadlines. Should the project need to be suspended for any reason, the Client and Designer shall discuss the terms and conditions for resuming the project at a later date. If the Client fails to respond or provide materials for over 14 days, the Designer may pause the project. Continued lack of communication may be treated as cancellation.

  • Plain English Summary: This clause outlines our official business hours and communication methods. We primarily use email and your dedicated Notion portal for all major feedback and approvals. Our working hours are Monday to Thursday, 10:30 AM – 5:00 PM, and Saturday, 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM (UTC +3).

    Full Terms:
    All official project communication, including feedback, revisions, and approvals, shall take place in writing via email or through the Client’s dedicated Notion portal. Communications through these channels will be considered binding on both parties. WhatsApp or similar messaging apps may be used for quick, informal updates where convenient, but they will not be recognised as official channels for approvals or detailed project feedback.

    The Designer’s official working hours are Monday to Thursday, 10:30 AM – 5:00 PM, and Saturday, 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM (AST / Qatar Time, GMT+3). The studio remains closed on Fridays and Sundays.

    For reference, this equates to 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM (BST, March–October) or 7:30 AM – 2:00 PM (GMT, October–March) from Monday to Thursday, and 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM (BST) or 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM (GMT) on Saturdays.

    The Designer will endeavour to respond to client communications within twenty-four (24) to forty-eight (48) business hours during the studio’s operating days.

  • Plain English Summary: This explains that the cost of any third-party resources, such as commercial fonts or licensed stock photography required for your project, is the responsibility of the client and will be billed separately.

    Full Terms: Any third-party resources required for the completion of the project, including but not limited to commercial fonts, licensed stock photography, video assets, software subscriptions, or plug-ins, shall be the responsibility of the Client. Such costs are not included in the Designer’s fees unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.

    Where third-party resources are required, the Designer will notify the Client in advance and obtain written approval before purchase. The Client agrees to reimburse the Designer for any approved costs or to provide such resources directly if preferred.

    The Client is responsible for ensuring they hold the appropriate rights and licences for any resources they supply to the Designer. The Designer accepts no liability for legal issues, copyright disputes, or claims arising from resources provided directly by the Client.

  • Plain English Summary: This outlines the process for refunds in the rare event the Designer is unable to complete the project due to uncontrollable circumstances.

    Full Terms: In the event that the Designer becomes incapacitated or unable to continue the project due to unexpected and uncontrollable circumstances (e.g., acts of nature, illness, or other emergencies), a portion of the total project budget may be reimbursed. In most cases, a full refund will be issued. If the work completed thus far can be utilised by another designer to continue the project, a refund percentage will be determined based on the work completed. Alternatively, any reasonable suggestions for handling the situation will be taken into consideration.

Rights & Responsibilities

  • Plain English Summary: Upon final payment, you are the exclusive owner of the final designs. Any unused concepts or sketches remain our property.

    Full Terms: Upon full payment of the compensation set forth in this contract, Client shall be the exclusive owner of all intellectual property rights, including but not limited to copyrights and trademarks, in and to the work product produced by Designer in connection with this contract. All sketches designed during this project, which are not used by the Client, will remain the property of the Designer. The Designer shall not be held responsible for any costs or legal liabilities arising from trademark infringements or other intellectual property issues related to the design materials after full payment has been made.

  • Plain English Summary: We reserve the right to showcase the completed work in our portfolio and marketing materials, which is how other great clients like you find us.

    Full Terms: The Designer is granted the right to use the completed design materials for portfolio and self-promotion purposes.

  • Plain English Summary: We agree to keep all your proprietary and sensitive business information confidential throughout our partnership.

    Full Terms: Client and Designer agree to maintain the confidentiality of any proprietary or sensitive information shared during the project.
